Greetings,
This week will be a bit of a departure
from the style normally written. The subject will
be cancer but from a perspective that many of you
may not have heard or thought of. This may be the
only time you will ever read of cancer, passion
and Billy Jack in the same article. I trust I have
your attention. I recently finished an outstanding
book entitled "The War of Art." Aside from a little
rough languange, the text was outstanding and highly
recommended. One particular topic addressed was
the issue of cancer.

Most people know of the potential
causes and treatments. FOX News or CNN often have
daily statistical reminders. Standard medicine offers
chemo or radiation. In some instances, they are
cures in others, they are the cause of death. Natural
medicine offers treatments as well, with Dr. Kelley's
nutritional protocol and Gaston Naessens' 714-X
injections being the most successful (in my opinion).
Have you ever wondered about the person who receives
this diagnosis out of the blue? They eat well. Exercise.
Do all the right things. Why them? Tom Laughlin,
start of the Billy Jack movies is an actor turned
psycholigist and has a very interesting take on
this. He doesn't ask people if they smoke or eat
right or exercise, he asks these types of questions:

What are you passionate about?
Are you following them?
What about that gift for music you
have?
What do you really want to be doing
with your life? Many of us ask these or similar
questions over the years, but how many of us truly.
. . truthfully. . . answer them. More importantly,
how many of us actually live them.

Research: We have been told forever and a day to
brush after every meal. Now Japanese researchers
published a study citing brushing after every meal
can contribute to weight reduction.

After working with many, many people
from all walks of life I have no doubt that diseases
such as cancer, and virtually all disease, have
as their origin, unfulfilled passions. Think of
passion as a river. Block the river and pools of
stagnant water form. This is IDENTICAL to the process
of disease manifestation. Ask: Am I living my dreams,
fulfilling my passions? Pause for a second. . .
. Most likely one of 2 broad responses came up.
1. Yes and I feel great. 2. A "___________but___________"
reply. They sound like this. "I would like to but
I can't because of the kids." " I try but I am too
afraid." I an guarantee that group #1 rarely if
ever is ill. I can equally guarantee that group
#2 is plagued with colds, allergies, injuries and
a host of others. One cannot stop the energy, be
it physical or emotional, without suffering the
effects. I think that in the future, diseases such
as cancer will be eradicated. The treatment/cure
will not come from standard medicine, nor from natural
medicine. Rather, it will come from an expression
of individual's desires, dreams and passions.
Dr. Laughlin asks "Does disease evolve
as a consequence of actions not taken in our lives?"
Take the actions and this question needs not be
answered. Ever.
