• Cruciferous Complete™

Chromium is the primary component of the Glucose Tolerance Factor (GTF), the biologically active form of chromium that supports the action of insulin. Cataplex GTF contains chromium, the essential trace mineral that helps to stabilize levels of blood sugar and lipids in the body.†

Dr. Orman's Comments: This is an exceptional formula for controlling blood sugar and for any type of fat reduction program. I have used this quite a bit with patients and have noted consistent results.

Cardio-Plus is a special combination product containing bovine heart PMG™ extract and naturally-occurring Coenzyme Q10. It has been well established in scientific literature that these nutrients are important for healthy cardiovascular function.†

Dr. Orman's Comments: In my opinion, this is a life saver for many people, particularly those with any type of cardiovascular conditions.

In addition, for individuals with respiratory ailments, it is a must. The heart provides energy or "electricitiy" to the lungs and thus, must be kept strong. Cardio Plus is the ideal formula for this.

• Purification Product Kit

The Purification Product Kit contains four whole food nutritional supplements needed for one 3-week purification and weight management program.  It also contains patient education tools and literature detailing how the products support the body's natural detoxification mechanisms.†

• Ginkgo Synergy®

Ginkgo Synergy calls upon the natural abilities of Ginkgo biloba, buckwheat juice and seed, dry lecithin, gotu kola leaf, and Masquelier's® Original OPC grape seed extract to stimulate healthy brain function through increased circulation and oxygenation. The ingredients found in Ginkgo Synergy also provide important antioxidant protection and encourage the elimination of excess fluids.†

Dr. Orman's Comments: Not only is this formula an excellent memory enhancer, it is excellent for improved circulation.

• Ovex® P

Ovex P is a Cytosol™ extract derived from porcine ovary, one of a pair of female reproductive glands. The ovaries produce reproductive cells and hormones. Ovex P contains many of the substances produced by the gland, such as hormone precursors, acids, and enzymes.†

Dr. Orman's Comments: Progesterone is the "forgotten" hormone. When these levels are improved and balanced, most women notice dramatic improvements.

• Prost-X™

Prost-X is a Cytosol™ extract derived from the bovine prostate gland. The prostate gland secretes a fluid that keeps semen from coagulating. Dr. Orman's Comments: It has been estimated that as many as 1 in 4 men have or will have prostate problems in their life. Prost-X is the premiere formula for prostate health. An excellent formula for both treatment and prevention.

• Antronex®

Antronex contains Yakriton, a bovine liver fat extract discovered in the 1920s by Japanese researchers. Yakriton has been shown to help maintain a healthy liver via its blood filtering and affect on histamine. Histamine is released when tissues become damaged, inflamed, or are the subject of an allergic reaction. Histamine is involved in a myriad of physiological conditions.†

Dr. Orman's Comments: Here in Florida, this is the land of allergies. Antronex is the best natural antihistimine I have ever come across. It will assist the body in draining sinus congestion promptly and safely.

This is also a liver cleansing formula, based upon the herb Yakriton. It is one of the little known gems available.

• Zypan®

Zypan contains proteolytic enzymes in combination with pancreatin to support the digestion and absorption of proteins.  Fatty acids are included in Zypan to coat the pancreatin, helping it to be digested in the correct area of the digestive tract.†

Dr. Orman's Comments: This is the only digestive enzyme I use and probably the most recommended product. It is a must for any fat loss program also.

• Utrophin PMG®

The uterus is a reproductive organ that contains and nourishes the embryo and fetus from the time the fertilized egg is implanted to the time the baby is born. Hormonal relationships between the uterus, placenta, ovaries, and hypothalamus are well documented. Dr. Orman's Comments: Involved with sports? Lacking energy? Either way, there is a trace mineral deficiency or need to maintain normal levels. With the soil devoid of trace minerals, this formula provides the body the small minerals that make a big difference.

• Iplex®

Iplex is a special combination formula designed to support the healthy functioning of the eyes. Iplex contains desiccated porcine brain that includes tissue proteins from the pineal gland.†

• For-Til B12®

Tillandsia, commonly referred to as Spanish Moss, has been found to contain various minerals, chlorophyll, and B vitamins. For-Til B12 is a 'fortified' tillandsia product combined with the vitamin B12 complex.†

Dr. Orman's Comments: One of the 4 major formulas that should be used by basically, everyone. It provided nutrition abnd support for the hemogrlobin, the oxygen carrying part of the blood and one of the major back up systems to the heart.

• Echinacea-C™

Echinacea primarily supports the immune system, non-specific cellular immunity, by helping various types of white blood cells during phagocytosis. Echinacea also increases the number and activity of the neutrophils, an important part of the body's immune system that maintains white blood cells. • Astragalus Complex

Astragalus Complex is a strong tonic blend containing Astragalus, Echinacea purpurea root and Eleuthero. This combination of herbs contains many compounds including triterpenoid saponins, flavonoids, sterols, caffeic acid derivatives (especially cichoric acid), alkylamides, and a diverse group of constituents called eleutherosides. The Eleuthero component of this tablet is standardized to contain 600 mcg per tablet of eleutheroside E to ensure optimal strength and quality.

Dr. Orman's Comments: Arguably the strongest immune system boosting herb known. Great for prevention. DO NOT USE FOR TREATMENT.

• Bacopa Complex

Bacopa Complex combines the herbs Bacopa, Schisandra, Eleuthero and the essential oil of Rosemary. These herbs contribute key phytochemicals to the blend such as dammarane saponins, other saponins, flavonoids, sterols, dibenzocyclooctene lignans, a diverse group of constituents called eleutherosides, monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes. This tablet contains two herbs with standardized levels of key phytochemicals to ensure optimal strength and quality. The Bacopa component is standardized to contain 37.5 mg of bacosides (a saponin mixture) per tablet, and the Eleuthero component contains 400 mcg per tablet of eleutheroside E.

• Chaste Tree

Chaste Tree contains flavonoids (especially methoxylated flavones), iridoid glycosides (such as aucubin), sesquiterpenes, an essential oil and other compounds which together

• Dong Quai

Dong Quai contains an essential oil (consisting mainly of ligustilide and n-butylidene phthalide), sterols and other compounds that together:

Dr. Orman's Comments: Better known as the "female ginseng," Dong Quai will assist the body in boosting blood levels and balancing hormonal levels.

• Horsechestnut Complex

Horsechestnut Complex is a combination of Horsechestnut, Butcher's Broom and Ginkgo biloba. These herbs contain steroidal saponins, other saponins (a complex mixture known as escin), flavonoids, lipids, sterols, terpene lactones (including ginkgolides) and other phytochemicals. All the herbs within this tablet have standardized levels of key phytochemicals to ensure optimal strength and quality. The Horsechestnut component is standardized to contain 36 mg of escin per tablet, the Butcher's Broom contains 18 mg per tablet of ruscogenin and the Ginkgo component contains 7.3 mg per tablet of ginkgo flavonglycosides (ginkgo flavone glycosides).

Dr. Orman's Comments: Excellent formula for circulation, vericose veins and hemorrhoids.

• Rehmannia Complex

The combination of herbs in Rehmannia Complex contain many compounds including iridoid glycosides, triterpenoid saponins (called saikosaponins), other saponins, sterols, sesquiterpene lactones of the germacranolide type, particularly parthenolide and other terpenes.

Dr. Orman's Comments: One of the top 5 most commonly used herbs in the Materia Medicia, Rehmannia is useful for both treatment and prevention.

• Tribulus

Tribulus contains an extract of Tribulus terrestris herb (aerial parts - leaves and stems) and contains steroidal saponins, mainly furostanol glycosides (including protodioscin and protogracillin) and small quantities of spirostanol glycosides, sterols and other compounds. This product is standardized to contain 100 mg per tablet of furostanol saponins to ensure optimal strength and quality.

Dr. Orman's Comments: Testosterone booster that can be used safely.

• Wild Yam Complex

Wild Yam Complex contains Wild Yam, Black Cohosh, Shatavari, Korean Ginseng, St John's Wort and Sage. This combination of herbs contains many compounds including steroidal saponins (such as shatavarin-I and dioscin), ginsenosides, an essential oil (containing monoterpenes, including thujone), triterpene glycosides, phenolic compounds (such as rosmarinic acid), naphthodianthrones hypericin and pseudohypericin (hypericins), flavonoids and phenolics. This tablet contains two herbs with standardized levels of key phytochemicals to ensure optimal strength and quality. The St John's Wort component of this tablet is standardized to contain 300 mcg of hypericins per tablet, and the Korean Ginseng component contains 1.3 mg per tablet of ginsenosides (calculated as Rg1 and Rb1.

Dr. Orman's Comments: Female hormonal regulator, I have used this formula extensively with consistent results with menopausal females.
