There are hundreds of snacking options. Some are healthy as can be, while others are a complete disaster.
Here are 3 that should be avoided at all costs:
- Doughnuts. High in sugar, unhealthy trans fats, white flour, doughnuts not only add to your weight and increase fat, but bad for your health and overall wellness levels. The energy spike will last only a few hours, followed by a major crash. You end up feeling worst due to the sugar fluctuations.
- Soft Drinks. Once in a while, no problem but people who consume sodas on a regular basis have a 40% increase in the chances for diabetes. In addition, dental issues are significantly increased, along with obesity. Yes, this does include diet sodas which are not only just as unhealthy, in many ways they are worse.
- French Fries. Anything deep fried is considered unhealthy. They weaken the cardiovascular system and clog the arteries. In addition. . . we have a theme here. . .they are major contributors to obesity.
