Sometimes, the computer crashes. Regardless of your reaction, until you take action, it will never start up again. As such, you simply reboot.
Life often repeats itself. It simply wears new clothes to do this.
I feel like things are not going particularly well. I am struggling with many aspects of my life, from personal to athletic to health to business. Probably a few others in between. Throw in the requisite dose of self-pity and you have the imperfect storm.
For most of Sunday, yesterday and insomnia riddled last night, I did not know where to even begin. Stuckness had come to visit and played its usual cruel trick. The feeling of helplessness and hopelessness danced around my brain like a pair of adolescent monkeys pawing at the last banana.
Today, I am simply going to reboot.
What does this look like?
I am going outside and trimming the trees and hedges. Might as well pull the weeds in the process. Once completed, I am going to clean and re-arrange my office and various other rooms, garage included. Upon completion of this, I will do some Tai Chi.
In other words, I will move the energy on the outside of the home, inside of the home and finally, the inside of me. I will then breathe, and take care of other people’s needs. (By the way, if you have a health question or life question, email me. It is free of charge today. Side note: You will receive the best answer you could wish for.) Then I am going to have a good meal and maybe buy something for myself. A good book and a mocha usually do the trick.
When Life feels like it is pounding on you, reboot. Your reboot may look a little or a lot differently. That is fine, as long as you are making it 100% yours. There are 1000s of ways to do this and only 4 modest but important requirements:
Move the energy on the outside.
Move the energy on the inside.
Do something for someone else.
Do something for you.
I cannot promise all will be “fixed” or resolved. I can promise they will be soon. Most importantly, I can promise you will feel much, much, much better. From this clearer perspective, you will then see Life as your friend, the way it always has been.
