Pain can ruin the day. It is hard to concentrate, focus, work or even sleep sometimes when pain is present.
There is not only a way but a tasty way to overcome light and moderate pain. Scientists from the University of Oklahoma found that caffeine helped athletes and other individuals cope with moderate pain. IN exercise triggering moderate pain, caffeine allowed people to do more work, train harder, produce more power and reach higher oxygen consumptions.
Caffeine, however, is a dual-edged sword. When used in excess, it can drain the adrenal glands, weaken the heart muscle and cause acute insomnia to name a few issues.
On the one hand, we have caffeine beneficial and on the other, it can be problematic. What is the difference?
The answer is VOLUME.
Three or few cups of caffeinated beverages are generally fine for most people. Above this can and typically does cause problems in the long run.
So enjoy your java or green tea. Just be careful of the volume.
