Scientists have found that as few as three slices consumed on a daily or near daily basis can raise the risk of becoming diabetic in excess of 30%. Additionally, it increases the risk of a variety of cancers by more than 10% and the risk of heart disease by 25%.
Bottom line, small amounts now and again is probably fine. However, this is not a food meant to be consumed regularly.
