An effective way to elevate testosterone safely and quickly is with high volume training.
New research from Hort Center in NZ showed that using 10 sets of 10 repetitions with 75% of a one rep maximum showed the greatest improvement in testosterone. It was concluded that load volume is the most important workout variable for activating the endocrine system and achieving muscle growth.
Doc’s Thoughts: I have always been a firm believer that if one is weight training, it should be done with heavy weights. Light weights are pretty much a waste of energy. They do virtually nothing in terms of adding strength and minimal for cardio improvement.
In addition, low weights/high repetitions bring water to the muscle being worked. As such, there is a “bloated” look afterwards.
