There is a fair amount of conflicting information about this question. Some people feel that training the first thing in the morning is the idea. It sets the metabolism on “high” for the rest of the day, and provides the needed energy.
Other state that after lunch is ideal. That is when the body is operating at its peak. In addition, our system is well nourished (hopefully), from both a health breakfast and a healthy lunch.

Seven in the evening is considered the ideal time. Your metabolism responds better when you work out in the evening as compared to every other block of time. It will aid in muscle building, fat reducing and overall wellness and health improvements.
Doc’s Thoughts: As I stated above, if we had the ideal set of circumstances (in terms of job, family time, etc.) 7 in the evening would be the answer. However, not everyone has this opportunity. As such, the “ideal” time is whenever you can; that is, be it 6am or noon or 8pm or any where else, take the opportunity to move, to train and to exercise.
